Job descriptionPerforms nursing care activities for patients in pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I, and Phase II settings throughout the surgical experience. Monitors patients receiving local anesthesia in the operating room and provides sedation for select procedures. Ensures quality patient care before and after procedures by utilizing the nursing process, adhering to established care standards, and following hospital policies and procedures. Acts as a patient advocate throughout the perioperative process. Directs and supervises assigned personnel during patient care. Participates in regular on-call rotation for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Supports the hospital’s mission, vision, values, and policies in all work activities. Works day shift with flexible scheduling. Specialty : Perioperative / Perianesthesia Nursing.
