Located in Pahrump, NV, Desert View Hospital is a critial access hospital that has provided high quality healthcare to residents of Nye County for over ten years and offers a range of dedicated services, inlcuding emergency care, physical therapy, wound care, radiology, surgery, a 24-hour laboratory and cardiopulmonary care.

Job Description :

Responsible for performing patient care / service activities / procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

• Education :   Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program and has completed at least the first semester of the nursing program.
• Experience :   None required, but preferred
• License :   Current BLS Certification from the AHA
• Other :   Nurse Apprentice must provide most current competency check-off list from their school to their supervising manager and maintain current competencies. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care / service appropriate to the department.
