Full-Time Senior Structural Engineer Position
We are is looking for a full-time Senior Structural Engineer who is passionate about engineering and delivering high-quality services. The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural Engineering and a Master’s Degree in a related field would be a plus. Candidates should have at least 7 to 15 years of experience in Structural Engineering and must have a MA PE license. The Senior Structural Engineer will have a wide range of responsibilities, including site investigations and condition assessments, leading projects and project teams, overseeing construction administration and client communications, and supporting the development of the department’s technical standards.

Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of structural engineering analysis and design tasks for structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood structures in the markets our clients servesServe as Project Manager on a variety of project types / sizes, overseeing project staffing, financial management, and client communicationsLead site investigations to observe and document existing conditions and document structural deficienciesPerform condition assessments and load ratings of bridges, culverts, piers, etc.Supervise and assist in the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and lead the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high quality engineering servicesOversee the construction administration phase of projects through the performance of site visits and provision of responses and solutions to issuesUtilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small rehabilitation projects to large scale new constructionSupport the mentor-ship, training, and development of junior engineering staffSupport the preparation of technical proposals in the pursuit of new workAttend meetings and site visits with clients as a representative of the firmActively participate in local industry organizations and business development functionsSupport the development and improvement of the department’s technical standardsCoordinate staffing needs and project financial performanceQualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural Engineering; Master’s Degree a plus7+ years’ experience in Structural EngineeringMA PE requiredAutoCAD and Revit experienceStrong mentor-ship skillsAbility to manage projects, clients, and delegate tasksUnderstanding and application of code requirementsExperience in using various structural analysis softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines#J-18808-Ljbffr
