Order Fulfillment Specialist (Hardware & Device Configuration)

The Order Fulfillment Specialist supports a digital health program by preparing, configuring, and shipping tablet devices to family caregivers. This role works closely with internal enrollment and engagement teams to ensure timely, accurate, and secure delivery of hardware. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, comfortable with repetitive technical tasks, and motivated by supporting caregivers through reliable device fulfillment.
Prepare Samsung tablets for shipment following standardized procedures
Install, configure, and validate required software on tablets and SD cards
Load approved applications, updates, and configurations according to fulfillment guidelines
Ensure SD cards are properly prepared, labeled, and inserted to support device functionality
Perform required quality checks to confirm devices are fully functional prior to release
Verify successful software installation through documented quality checks
Troubleshoot basic device, software, or SD card issues and escalate unresolved problems as needed
Maintain data integrity and device security throughout configuration and preparation
Prepare and ship devices via USPS and FedEx
Receive, inspect, and process returned tablets
Maintain accurate inventory of devices and supplies
Order and manage auxiliary supplies as needed
Accurately document device setup, configuration status, and shipment details in tracking systems
Follow detailed technical checklists and fulfillment processes consistently
Document process updates and suggest improvements when appropriate
Partner with Enrollment and Engagement teams to support timely and accurate device fulfillment
5+ years of experience in a detail-oriented, technically rigorous role (e.g., mobile device retail, electronics support, technical operations)
Comfortable configuring tablets or similar hardware devices
Experience installing software, managing files, and following technical QA checklists
Technologically adept (e.g., setting up smartphones or handheld devices)
Experience with administrative tasks, data entry, and/or shipping packages preferred
Exceptional attention to detail and strong process orientation
Ability to identify and correct errors before shipment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Goal-oriented and dependable in a repetitive technical environment
Ability to work on-site in Norwell, MA, five days per week
Comfort with repetitive, structured technical work
