Facility : Sanford Med Ctr Fargo Location : Fargo, ND Address : 5225 23rd Ave S, Fargo, ND 58104, USA Shift : Day Job Schedule : Full time Weekly Hours : 40.00 Salary Range : $32.00 - $48.00 Department Details Level 1 Trauma facility that offers 16 state-of-the- art operating rooms utilizing advanced cutting-edge technology. The OR department is separated on two floors to help serve the specific needs of patients. On the 2nd floor, the center focuses on elective cases such as : Pediatrics and Pediatric Orthopedics, ENT, General, and Urology. On the 3rd floor, there is focus on more complex cases and emergencies. We specialize on TRACS (Trauma Acute Care Services), General, Cardiovascular and Neurology. We collaborate with Cardiovascular / Peripheral-Vascular specialties including having Angio suites nearby. We have Neuro navigation systems and hybrid rooms. The OR utilizes block scheduling with all specialties. Call teams include General, TRACS, Cardiovascular and Ortho / Neuro. Rotating shifts encompass call with 24 / 7 shift coverage.

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions
• Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care
• Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care
• Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and / or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
