We are looking for a Gift Shop Cashier who is motivated and passionate about customer service, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. As a cashier you are responsible for the efficient and prompt processing of all customer transactions, maintaining proper control of all cash and paper transactions and ensuring transactions are tendered correctly and efficiently. This position is responsible for providing attentive, cheerful, courteous, professional customer service to all customers, internal and external, striving to always exceed their expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for sales, stocking shelves, pricing inventory in the gift shop.
• Preparing inventory reconciliation in a quarterly basis or when required per management.
• Receiving, checking, and pricing orders.
• Operate cash register, handle cash and balance daily receipts.
• Light housekeeping such as dusting and polishing shelves and merchandise.
• Maintain excellent grooming appearance and always provide excellent customer service and able to upsell.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned per manager and supervisor in a daily basis.
• Must be able to lift up-to 50 lbs., move cases of merchandise.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
