Job description

CDL Driver

We are seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Class-A Commercial Driver's License and have experience in transporting materials and equipment to various construction sites. Certifications for Doubles, Tankers, and Hazmat are preferred but not required. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of materials, contributing to the successful completion of our projects.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Safely operate and drive a variety of trucks to transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites.
  • Ensure the proper loading and securing of cargo.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members.
  • Assist with other duties as needed to support construction activities.

Position Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class-A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Certifications for Doubles, Tankers, and Hazmat preferred but not required.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
  • Previous experience in construction-related transportation preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
