ICU RN Job Details Location : Cottonwood, AZ 86326 (Arizona nursing jobs) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1590 - $1710 Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 9, 2026 Facility Type : Short Term Acute Care, Level IV Trauma, Teaching Hospital Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM); 3x12s or 4x12s per week Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week (facility may call off up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract) Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Floating : Required to float between ICU, Medical-Surgical (MS) / Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Charting System : Cerner Scrub Color : Navy Blue Parking : Free on-site parking ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience required Previous travel nurse experience preferred Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact nursing license (pending accepted) Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Experience caring for neuro and trauma patients Ability to float to MS / Tele and PCU units (ratios up to 1 : 4-5) Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting preferred Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays during assignment Two professional references required (one from most recent employer within 1 year) ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in the ICU Float to MS / Tele and PCU units as needed, adapting to diverse patient ratios and acuity levels Manage and monitor arterial lines, ventilators, central lines, and titrate cardiac / vasoactive drips Interpret and manage dysrhythmias Provide specialized care for neuro and trauma patients, as well as a variety of critically ill conditions Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services Maintain compliance with facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration protocols Document patient care accurately and promptly using Cerner Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Join our healthcare team in Cottonwood, Arizona and take your ICU nursing career to new heights.
