Your Role :
The Clinical Support Technician will be an integral part of our treatment team, committed to maintaining clients' wellbeing and upholding the integrity of our program. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will provide client supervision and assist staff as needed.
Main Responsibilities :
Client Interaction & Support :
Develop and uphold professional, supportive relationships with clients and staff.Offer emotional support, encouragement, and guidance to clients and their families.Ensure clients' comfort and safety within the residential environment.Listen attentively, document client behavior, and communicate observations to clinical staff.Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information at all times.Clinical & Administrative Tasks :
Oversee and collect urine analysis (U / A) testing, ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR and appropriate sample disposal.Observe and document self-administration of medication.Keep a log of all medications in the Centrally Stored Medication Log and EMR.Assist with intake assessments and consent forms for clients.Conduct patient rounds every 30 minutes.Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, oxygen saturation, temperature, pulse, respiration).Perform contraband and random room searches.Group & Activity Facilitation :
Lead groups, outings, and educational workshops.Transport clients to meetings and appointments as necessary.Team Collaboration & Communication :
Provide crisis intervention to foster a healthy residential and working environment.Adhere to all relevant regulations and ethical standards.Engage in team meetings and training sessions when required.What You’ll Bring :
Skills and Qualifications :
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with the philosophy and methods of the 12-step recovery model (AA, CA, NA, Alanon).Knowledge of professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality.Proficient in basic computer skills and electronic health records (EHR) systems.Understanding of referral processes, both internally and externally.Effective collaborator with the ability to communicate well with coworkers, clinical staff, and administration.Strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational and time-management skills.Qualifications :
Current and valid certification as a SUDRC (Substance Use Disorder Registered Counselor) or RADTI (Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician).High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.Current CPR and First Aid Certification.Successful completion of all Pre-Employment Requirements, including criminal background clearance, drug testing, and health screening, is mandatory prior to employment.About Quadrant Health Group :
