BME is seeking a skilled and motivated Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team. This role is vital to supporting our expanding customer base by delivering exceptional service, technical precision, and dependable performance. You'll diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems while building lasting relationships with our customers through excellent communication and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including RTUs, chillers, boilers, DX equipment, fan systems, and refrigeration units.Perform routine service, maintenance, and warranty work to ensure optimal system performance.Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.Track and document all work performed, including obtaining purchase orders and completing service reports through digital tools.Travel to customer locations to provide on-site service and repairs.Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach and uphold BME's standards of safety and excellence.Secondary Duties
Train and mentor apprentices or junior technicians.Communicate effectively with customers regarding system performance and service recommendations.Assist in ordering parts and materials for repairs and maintenance as needed.Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordEPA CertificationOSHA 10 Certification (minimum)5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service, including troubleshooting and repairs across multiple systemsAbility to carry and climb ladders up to 28'Able to sit, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periodsProficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications
Experience working with chillersControl / BAS experienceKentucky Journeyman License (or ability to obtain)
