The role you'll contribute :

The Stroke Program Coordinator, in collaboration with stroke medical director and site and regional clinical leadership, are responsible for the coordination of clinical excellence in stroke care across the continuum of their respective AdventHealth site. At one assigned campus, the coordinator functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for monitoring and improving stroke program performance as well as national accreditation and certification requirements. The coordinator facilitates the development and implementation of stroke-related educational initiatives for staff, patients, community and emergency medical services. The coordinator leads their campus interdisciplinary teams in performance improvement and the incorporation of evidence-based practice protocols into the daily operations of the stroke program. The coordinator is responsible for analyzing outcomes to determine root causes of variation and developing corrective actions to improve stroke outcomes and performance. The coordinator works with community and professional organizations to further community education and awareness about stroke prevention and treatment. The coordinator actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
