Job Requirements :

Board Certified : Required (No Board Eligible candidates)

Michigan Medical License : Required at the time of name clear (no exceptions)

BLS Certification : Required

Local Provider : Must be located near Burton, MI (no exceptions)

Clean Background : Essential for quick credentialing

Responsibilities :

Patient Volume : Approximately 80 patients per day, averaging 1.8 patients per hour

Support Staff : Access to full ED support including nursing, techs, APP coverage for 12 hours, radiology, and lab services

Current EHR : Cerner

Required Skills and Procedures :

General Emergency Medicine Skills :

Newborn resuscitation

Suturing of minor lacerations

Incision & drainage procedures

Psychiatric evaluations for various age groups

Central and arterial line placements

Lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and arthrocentesis
