Our client, a leader in food chemistry testing and analytical services, is seeking a dedicated Analytical Chemist to join their team. As an Analytical Chemist, you will be part of the Food Chemistry Department supporting laboratory operations and testing activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Analytical Chemist

Location : Battle Creek, MI

Pay Range : $21-$23 / hr DOE

Shift : 8AM - 4 : 30PM (Flexible, 40 hours)

What's the Job?

Apply GMP / GLP standards in all laboratory activities to ensure compliance and quality.
Conduct routine analyses independently using instrumentation such as UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS.
Document work accurately and maintain detailed laboratory records and study documentation.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions and planning.
Perform peer review of data to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.

What's Needed?

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant scientific field (laboratory experience may substitute for a degree).

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Ability to work with potentially hazardous materials and food allergens.

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a keen attention to detail.
