Client Accounting Analyst

Location : New York, NY

Responsibilities :

• Analyze documentation and data to create and manage database records
• Join data from various sources, interpret findings and summarize findings
• Monitor and analyze performance of individual matters and portfolios
• Leverage precedent and historical data to problem solve and support decision making
• Prepare fee proposals based on the nature of services and type of fee arrangement
• Compile and analyze historical data
• Recommend optimal fee structures to offer services profitably
• Comprehend and respond to inquiries related to alternative fee agreements

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
• 3+ years of related experience in law firm / professional services billing or collections
• Familiarity with Aderant is a plus
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills
• Strong Excel background and experience with relational databases
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Interpersonal skills in order to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently with a great group of co-workers.
