JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC in hand / applied

Board : Board Certified in Cardiology

DEA : Active DEA Certification required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty

Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic and Cerner EMRs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care

Cover weekday clinic, weeknight call, and / or 24-hour weekend call

Conduct inpatient rounding, consults, TEEs, cardioversions, and image readings

Proctor stress tests occasionally

Collaborate with APPs and PA-Cs for patient management

Respond to calls, with most handled via phone triage; rare in-person stat TEE for dissection
