Job Description

We are seeking skilled Grinder Operators to join our team. This role involves the use of grinding equipment to remove excess metal from castings, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Remove excess metal from castings using hand-held or stand grinding equipment.
• De-gate, trim, deburr, scrape, and polish castings to meet quality standards.
• Inspect castings for defects and non-conformance.
• Utilize hand tools such as grinders, hammers, pry-bars, and wrenches.

Work Environment

The work environment is demanding, often dingy and dirty, with high temperatures. Shift hours are from 4 am to 2 : 30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with Fridays offering overtime opportunities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Novi, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00 / hr.
