Security Professional - Aero / Defense Patrols FT

As a Security Professional - Aero / Defense Patrols FT in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $17.18 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter security-related risks and report any unusual circumstances.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or maintenance needs as observed during patrols.
  • Support emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
