Associate Pastor of Worship - Boone, Iowa

Cornerstone Alliance Church (CAC) is currently seeking a candidate who feels called to serve in an Associate Pastor of Worship, whose role focuses on a deep desire to lead the church into the presence of God through worship. This role could possibly include pastoral responsibilities such as shepherding, counseling, teaching, and leading, depending on the giftedness, calling, and education of the applicant. As a growing church of approximately 300 attendees, we have lots of service opportunities in an exciting time of expansion. The candidate should be able to express a calling to serve in a medium sized, rural Iowa community of 13,000 people.

This is a half to ¾ time position. Salary commensurate with experience.

CAC will use the term "pastor" for this position if and when a staff member meets elder qualifications, completes ordination requirements, and is appointed as an elder.

Qualifications for the Position

• A mature Christian modeling I Timothy 3 : 1-7 (Elder qualities) and Galatians 5 : 22-23 (Fruit of the Spirit) character.
• A passion for ministry and an ability to articulate God's calling.
• Proven ability to recruit and lead an adult volunteer staff.
• Effective in communicating God's Word to a wide range of audiences.
• Working knowledge of and ability to use technology in necessary areas.
• Agreement with The Christian & Missionary Alliance doctrine and mission.
• Prior ministry experience and education preferred.
