• Previous travel experience
• Adult ventilator management experience
• Proficient in ABGs, CPAP, BiPAP, and treatments
• Willingness to learn newborn care if no prior experience

Description :

The position is in the Respiratory Therapy department.

The team primarily treats adult and newborn patients with a variety of comorbidities.

The department is responsible for managing respiratory care plans and treatment protocols.

Staff work independently with a focus on patient care in various areas, including emergency care and a newborn nursery.

Candidates must be able to set up and maintain ventilators, while intubation is typically handled by anesthesia providers.

Knowledge of performing EKGs and managing treatments for respiratory patients is essential.

All staff share responsibility for creating the work schedule with support from management.

There is a requirement to work every other weekend and some holidays, with on-call duties for emergencies.

Responsive call time is expected to be 20 minutes for overnight emergencies.

A team-oriented approach is necessary for success in this role.

The environment emphasizes collaborative efforts within the department and floating is limited to within the same facility.
