Advanced Gastroenterologist

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Gastroenterologist with specialized training and experience in Advanced / Interventional Endoscopy for employment at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Advanced Gastroenterologist to join a successful system with opportunity for program development and support from a robust referral base.

The full-time Interventional GI specialist will provide personalized comprehensive care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high quality patient care for our patients requiring interventional endoscopy consultation, including appropriate advanced GI procedures with a focus on Interventional Gastroenterology.

All gastroenterology procedures will be conducted at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center directly. Based in Newark NJ, this opportunity is extremely close in proximity to New York City. Just 16 miles outside of the city lights, Essex County encompasses beautiful suburban neighborhoods and top school districts, plus access to museums, fine dining, and great shopping!

Candidate Requirements :

• BC / BE in Gastroenterology
• Specialized training in Advanced / Interventional Endoscopy
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
• 2+ years out of fellowship is preferred

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $495,000 to $775,000 per year.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidates educational background, skills, and professional experience.

We are open to new graduates as well as experienced physicians!  Please note that current trainees can earn up to $24,000 with the residency stipend program if they choose to join RWJBH during the final year of residency!
