Base pay range

350,000.00 / yr - $400,000.00 / yr

POSITION SUMMARY

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for driving the operational performance of the organization and ensuring that day-to-day business functions align with strategic goals. Working closely with the Leadership Team, the COO will lead execution on company priorities, optimize internal systems, oversee cross-functional collaboration, and ensure resource alignment for growth and scalability. This executive will be responsible for managing business operations, refining delivery models, identifying and solving operational inefficiencies, and ensuring consistent, high-quality client outcomes.

OBJECTIVES

  • Build scalable delivery models with an emphasis on quality control, repeatability, and profitability
  • Translate long-term strategy into actionable annual and quarterly operating priorities with clear success metrics
  • Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks to support rapid, sustainable growth
  • Oversee implementation of scalable systems, technologies, and processes that improve internal performance and external client delivery
  • Foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, execution, and client impact
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment between consulting, sales, marketing, operations, and finance to drive operational excellence
  • Collaborate with the CFO to manage the company's budget, ensuring alignment with growth targets and operational needs
  • Monitor company performance against forecasts and adapt planning, staffing, and systems as needed to meet targets
  • Support business development teams by enabling operational readiness for new opportunities
  • COMPETENCIES

  • Strong ability to operationalize vision and strategy across departments and teams
  • Experience managing and scaling internal operations across multiple business units
  • Robust financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L oversight, and cost optimization
  • Understanding of marketing, sales, and service delivery processes as they relate to operations
  • Ability to analyze KPIs, customer insights, and market data to drive operational decisions
  • Experience in team leadership, performance management, and organizational development
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Proven track record of process development, systems implementation, and efficiency gains
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years in executive leadership roles
  • Experience leading companies through rapid growth or transformation
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
