Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM

Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend / holiday

Job Summary :

A facility in Saratoga Springs, NY is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care on their inpatient mental health unit. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in inpatient psychiatric care and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct patient care to adults on an inpatient mental health unit

Utilize de-escalation techniques to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality psychiatric care

Accurately document patient care in EPIC

Participate in unit activities and therapeutic interventions as needed

Requirements :

Current NYS RN License – Required

2–3 years of experience on inpatient mental health units (MHU / BHU) – Required

Prior travel experience – Preferred

Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

De-escalation training – Required

EPIC experience – Required
