HIRING FOR AN OVERNIGHT HEMATOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST IN BROOKLYN, NY

About Us : We are a leading medical facility in Brooklyn, urgently seeking a skilled Hematology Technologist to join our overnight team. Our state-of-the-art laboratory is at the forefront of medical innovation, and we need your expertise to continue delivering exceptional patient care.

Job Description : As an Overnight Hematology Technologist, you will be a vital part of our laboratory operations. Your immediate responsibilities will include :

Performing critical hematology tests with precision and urgency
Reading slides and reading the different red / white blood cell counts
Responsible for QC being run and correct
Validating any abnormalities from slides
Doing urinalysis microscopy

Qualifications :

NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field

Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) by ASCP or equivalent

Able to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours

Professional experience working in hematology

Comfortable reading slides / performing manual differentials

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $99840.00 - $114400.00
