Environmental Group Leader : (2nd Shift) 3PM - 11PM

The Environmental Group Leader maintains cleanliness around the halls, patient rooms, and offices of the hospital. Working under general supervision, this role assists with the supervision and training of staff to meet the daily needs of the department.

Responsibilities include :

• Assigning tasks to front-line staff to meet daily operational needs.
• Completing paperwork to document tasks.
• Monitoring equipment function and resolving operational issues.
• Reporting unclean or unsafe areas requiring complex attention to minimize risks.
• Monitoring departmental budget and supply needs.
• Providing tools and supplies for staff to complete cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Accepting service requests from customers and patient safety organizations, and coordinating bed throughput on EPIC, the organization's electronic health records system.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Education : Preferred : High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience : Required : 2 years housekeeping experience or 1 year dispatcher experience with 6 months housekeeping experience.
