Job Overview

This position is an outdoors position that exposure of inclement weather can happen. Clean and maintain all corridors, public areas, and parking lots in accordance with all housekeeping procedures / standards and safety & security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean & care for buildings, facilities, and exterior of property to ensure they are maintained in a safe and healthy manner.
• Check landscaping, mulch beds, lawn, for cigarette butts, trash, and debris.
• Sweep all walkways and ensure any trash, debris, cobwebs, etc. are removed from exterior areas of buildings.
• Notify management of any repairs needed (lighting, public areas, parking lot, etc.)
• Empty all exterior waste baskets and keep receptacles clean.
• Sweep walkways and parking lot as needed to ensure clean and safe areas.
• Use carpet cleaner, floor scrubber, power washer, and any other assigned equipment to safely clean interior floors, as well as the exterior building and walkways.
• Attend safety meetings & other related meetings.
• Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Education / Formal Training

No formal education needed.

Experience

Prior janitorial / custodial experience desirable.
