Job Summary

Security Automation Systems designs and installs highly engineered security / control systems for jail and prison facilities and is seeking an Electrical Engineer to fulfill the role of Controls Engineer. This position will be responsible for the design, programming, configuration, procurement, construction and installation of the various components that comprise a complete integrated system. This position will report to the Engineering Manager and will be an overtime exempt position.

Education & Experience

• Recent PLC programming and HMI development experience
• Integrated systems design experience
• High School Diploma
• 4-year Technical Engineering Degree
• General knowledge of security electronics hardware including, but not limited to, door locks, CCTV systems, access control systems and intercom communication systems would be beneficial

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 / yr.

The company provides structured onboarding and expects a 1-year ramp-up for engineers to become fully independent.
