Radiology Technologist Job Details Assignment Type : Travel (Locum Tenens) Radiology Technologist Location : Mountain Home, Arkansas - Arkansas healthcare jobs Setting : Hospital Radiology Department Start Date : October 27, 2025 End Date : January 26, 2026 Duration : 13-week travel assignment Schedule : Day / Evening Split Shifts Hours : 40 hours per week Typical Shifts : Mon / Tues 8 : 00am - 10 : 00pm; Thurs 8 : 30am - 10 : 00pm Shift Duration : 10-hour days Call : No call required Holidays : May be required depending on department staffing Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1850 - $1990 Radiology Technologist Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Rad Tech Active ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Arkansas Department of Health Radiology License Current CPR / BLS certification Experience with surgery (C-arm equipment), ER, inpatient, and outpatient exams Ability to perform a wide range of radiologic procedures Travel healthcare experience highly preferred Experience with Cerner charting system preferred Ability to meet physical demands : standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 100 lbs with proper body mechanics COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions allowed) Radiology Technologist Responsibilities Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients Assist radiologists with exams and ensure patient safety and comfort Operate imaging equipment including GE OEC C-arm, Medtronic O-arm, and Philips General X-Ray Conduct exams in surgery, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient healthcare settings Perform specialized procedures such as fluoroscopy, trauma imaging, and portable x-ray exams Prepare and administer contrast media as required Maintain accurate patient records using PACS and Cerner systems Adhere to infection prevention and isolation protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, and physical therapy services Maintain professionalism and composure in critical and high-stress clinical situations Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Radiology Technologist in Mountain Home, Arkansas, and take the next step in your radiology career!
