Mister Car Wash is rewriting the rules of the car wash industry. We wash cars for the fun of it, but we build careers with purpose, and we're looking for a Corporate Counsel who can help us do both.
This role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives at the intersection of law and business. We're seeking someone who can represent our company with integrity, collaborate across departments, and deliver legal solutions that protect the business while enabling growth. You'll be a trusted partner to internal teams, helping us navigate contracts, compliance, and operational challenges with clarity and confidence.
What You'll Do :
Contract Review and Negotiation
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, SaaS agreements, and acquisition-related documents.
- Research applicable laws across jurisdictions to provide concise, business-focused legal advice on contract terms, obligations, and risks.
Compliance and Cross-Functional Collaboration
Ensure business practices comply with advertising, marketing, IP, consumer protection, privacy, and other laws relevant to our operations.Align contracts with corporate policies, signing authority, risk management goals, and legal requirements.Provide ongoing legal support for regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and operational challenges.Contract Management and Process Optimization
Develop and maintain standardized contract templates, playbooks, and internal processes.Support the implementation of a contract management system to track key dates, obligations, and renewals.Training and Legal Support
Educate internal teams on contract basics, compliance, and legal risk awareness.Proactively identify legal risks and deliver practical, business-oriented solutions.What You Bring :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in Arizona (preferred) or another U.S. jurisdiction.Minimum 5 years of legal experience, ideally in-house or at a mid-to-large law firm.Proven track record in negotiating commercial agreements, including M&A transactions.Experience advising on compliance with advertising, marketing, IP, privacy, and consumer protection laws.Familiarity with real estate transactions is a plus.Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.Ability to operate independently while building trust across teams.High level of professionalism and dedication to providing effective, practical legal support.Why Join Mister :
