Job Description

Our client, a midsized healthcare facility located about 45 mins from Arlington, VA, has a need for a Radiology Tech to join their team. This is a Day shift position working Monday- Friday 7am-3 : 30 doing Diagnostic exams, C-ARM (OR) and Fluoroscopy.

JOB SUMMARY

The Radiology Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education : High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.

Experience : 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.

Licensure : ARRT or registry eligible required. Registry eligible technologist must successfully complete the ARRT certification exam in Radiology within 90 days of hire. Applicable state licensure as required.
