Infrastructure Maintenance Tech I (Franklin)

First-Level Vocational Position

First-level vocational position accountable for technical work involving the least complex equipment operation and maintenance. Employees may also be responsible for repairing traffic signals; installing and maintaining signs; applying herbicide, pesticide, and snow and ice chemicals; striping; traffic control; pothole patching; and responding to natural and man-made disasters. This position may vary depending on your license. If you have obtained your CDL your pay will increase depending on experience. Must have Regular Driver License OR CDL. Discussed at interview. Must present license at the time of application process. Applicants can also apply at the MDOT office Monday through Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm.
