Lead Financial Systems Analyst – Hybrid – Northbrook
A global leader in manufacturing is seeking a Lead Financial Systems Analyst to join its high-performing finance transformation team. This is a hybrid role based at a modern North Suburban Chicago campus (onsite Tues–Thurs, WFH Mon & Fri), offering direct exposure to senior leadership, career growth, and a collaborative, empowered culture.
About the Role
As Lead Financial Systems Analyst, you will drive the design, development, and optimization of Oracle EPM solutions (FCCS / EPBCS) for enterprise consolidations and planning. You’ll play a critical role in expanding the capabilities of the Oracle EPM platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and establishing best practices for model integrity, scalability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of Oracle EPM solutions for consolidations and planning
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes
Manage metadata and trial balance mapping in Oracle FCCS, EPBCS, and EDMCS
Conduct training and create user guides for Oracle systems
Gather requirements, translate business needs, and maintain strong documentation
Drive process improvement and apply best practices in data modeling and planning
Act as a liaison between finance and IT, ensuring compliance and effective communication
Provide backup support for other Oracle EPM solutions during peak times
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years’ experience in finance, finance systems, or accounting
2+ years’ experience with Oracle EPM modules (especially FCCS, EPBCS)
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
Project management experience
Demonstrated training capabilities
Compensation
Salary range : $120,000–$140,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance
Benefits
Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 160 hours per year, plus 5 paid sick days. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
10 paid holidays per year.
