Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work in a 32-bed telemetry unit (6 South) in the South Tower

    • \n

  • Patient ratios of 1 : 5 and 1 : 6

    • \n

  • Modified self-scheduling with every other weekend requirement

    • \n

  • Required to float to other medical surgical units and ED holds if needed

    • \n

  • Work with bedside telemetry equipment

    • \n

  • Use Meditech documentation system

    • \n

  • Must have medical surgical experience and excellent customer service skills

    • \n

  • ACLS and telemetry experience preferred

    • \n

  • BLS certification required, ACLS preferred

    • \n

  • Must be familiar with AIDET and hourly rounding protocols

    • \n

  • Maintain patient experience standards including white board updates

    • \n

  • Work with nurse techs and unit secretary support staff

    • \n

  • Required uniform : Royal blue scrubs

    • \n

  • Very fast-paced unit environment

    • \n\n
