Yardman / Truck Driver is a flexible position with K&T Irrigation. This individual is responsible for keeping the yard organized, general maintenance, odd jobs around the yard, driving semi hauling products and equipment to jobsites, unloading incoming products and assisting with general labor when needed. After the irrigation season, this candidate will be assisting on grain project equipment and product deliveries. During the coldest days and inclement weather this individual will also assist with snow removal and routine maintenance of company equipment and buildings. This candidate will contribute to the success of K&T Irrigation’s Field Service team, and be dedicated to safety, quality, and efficiency. Irrigation or grain experience is not necessary. Candidates must possess a class A CDL license, be eager to learn, and actively seek to master the projects they are assigned to. This position can be full time or seasonal depending on applicants request. This is a very flexible position. Estimated break down of hours is 25% trucking, 50% yard / shop work and 25% field work.

Education & Work Experience :

Candidate must possess a class A CDL license, be mechanically inclined and have teamwork experience. The ability to follow instructions, meet expectations, and work long hours outside is expected. The willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities are highly valued. Experience with operating equipment is preferred, but not necessary. Any other skills or experiences are a plus.

Requirements :

• Must be over 18 years of age
• Must have a valid class A CDL
• Must be able to work substantial overtime during peak seasons
• Must be willing to overnight when applicable.

Physical Demands :

Must be able to lift heavy objects (at least 75 lbs.), reach, pull, carry, kneel, stand, and climb
