We are growing our team at the Wade Agency LLC- American Family Insurance. We are an upbeat, fast-paced insurance agency with two locations : Durango & Cortez. We are passionate about helping others protect what they have worked so hard for. We are hiring for a customer services & sales position at our Durango location. This role will handle incoming insurance service & sales needs, with the goal of helping us grow our business & provide the best customer experience possible for all our customers.

We are looking for an individual that is motivated, outgoing, detail oriented, fast learner, and that has exceptional customer service skills. If you are looking for a new career path and enjoy helping others, this could be the perfect role for you. This position is available as an entry level or mid-level position and must have or be able to obtain Property & Casualty License within 30 days. This is an in-office position, and not remote capable.

• Starting base pay : $19 - $25 p / hour (max pay range requires min 2 years P&C license & experience)

General Service & Sales Tasks :

Process inbound service needs :

Process inbound sales needs

Collect info, quote, present, & sell policies, and endorsements as deemed appropriate per agency standards and client needs

Generate & cultivate sales leads & opportunities

Assist agency on various service & marketing projects as needed

Requirements

Must live within 30 minutes of downtown Durango

Minimum of 1 year office experience required

Must have or be able to obtain Property & Casualty License within 30 days

Exceptional customer service skills

Fast Learner & great note taker

Must be computer proficient and able to pick up new systems quickly

Must be able to type well

Highly detail oriented

Responsible, dependable, & mature

Able to communicate & present self in a professional manner

Must be reliable & able to manage their time effectively

Outgoing & positive attitude

Team player

Preferred Skills & Abilities :

Willing and able to attend local networking events

Comfortable with outside sales calls & visits to local businesses
