Architect (Atlanta)

The primary role of the Architect is to design and manage all aspects of an architectural project from conception to completion. This position requires 4+ years of experience, with strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to engage with clients directly. The Architect is responsible for managing design, client communication, and project delivery while collaborating with interior design, engineering, and drafting teams to ensure projects meet their goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design Leadership : Develop and manage all phases of design, from schematic design to construction documentation and 3D renders, ensuring compliance with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Material Selection : Lead the sourcing, selection, and specification of architectural materials.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with the interior design and drafting teams to coordinate design solutions, drawings, and plans.
• Regulatory Compliance : Prepare applications for regulatory approvals and ensure all designs adhere to building codes and regulations.
• Construction Documentation : Review and ensure construction documents are accurate and meet industry and company standards. Demonstrated understanding of building systems and construction methods.
• Project Management : Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables are met. Communicate design changes to the architectural team and other stakeholders.
• Project Presentation : Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback and making revisions as needed.
• Construction Phase : Respond to RFIs, submittals, and participate in site meetings to oversee the projects built conditions.
• Information Gathering : Participate in site visits and help prepare field reports and meeting notes.
• P roject Participation : Collaborate with architects, designers and consultants for integrated delivery.
• Assist with code researching, permitting and compliance review.
