Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Title :

• Quality Engineer   FTE Status :   Full Time – 40 hours FLSA Status : Non-Exempt   Reports To :   Quality Manager Location : White Salmon, Washington Benefits : Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Aflac Supplemental Insurance PTO after 1 year 401k Bonus Eligible Quality Engineer Primary Functions : Analyzes, interprets, implements and monitors product quality requirements of internal and external customers.
Essential Duties :
• 1.
• Creates and implements inspection plans for new programs and updates current programs as necessary. 2.
• Supports engineers in process validations, process control, process training, process improvement, and risk management. 3.
• Reviews customer requirements and assists Engineering to ensure that contractual and technical requirements are met. 4.
• Collects and evaluates product data, develops and monitors quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI). 5.
• Serves as resource for problem identification, improvement, and resolution. 6.
• Interfaces with internal / external customers and vendors to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Assists with internal and external customer audits. 7.
• Assists in implementation of effective corrective actions. 8.
• Identifies resource requirements in personnel, methods, machines, tooling, and test equipment needed to determine product quality. 9.
• Provides leadership in data usage and structured problem-solving. 10.
• Supports Quality Manager with maintenance and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS).
