**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Foreman to oversee utility and heavy civil construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Foreman will provide leadership to teams, coordinate with various stakeholders, and uphold our commitment to quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Supervise and manage crews working on heavy civil and utility construction projects.
- Plan and schedule project timelines in collaboration with project managers and other professionals.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among work crews.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, resources used, and progress against project plans.
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Order materials and manage inventory to ensure the project runs smoothly without delays.
- Provide training and mentoring to crew members, fostering skill development and teamwork.
- Resolve conflicts and implement action plans to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Foreman in utility and heavy civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools is an asset.
- Relevant certifications, such as OSHA, are preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in construction management or related field is advantageous.
