Job description

As we expand our DTC digital ecosystem, we're seeking a Shopify Developer to help modernize and elevate our online experience.

The Role

You'll develop, maintain, and optimize Sunlighten's Shopify storefronts to ensure a seamless, high-performing customer experience. This is a hands-on technical role collaborating with design, marketing, and engineering teams to bring digital initiatives to life.

What You'll Do

  • Build, customize, and enhance Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Maintain reusable components and templates to support product launches and campaigns.
  • Manage Shopify environments (staging, QA, production) with version control and QA best practices.
  • Integrate Shopify with Salesforce CRM, ERP, and analytics systems.
  • Optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO across the site.
  • Implement tracking and analytics for user behavior and conversion insights.
  • Stay current on Shopify updates, APIs, and app ecosystem trends.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of Shopify development and theme customization experience.
  • Expertise with Liquid, Shopify APIs, and modern JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows, CI / CD, and multi-environment deployment.
  • Experience integrating Shopify with CRM or ERP systems (Salesforce a plus).
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, UX, and accessibility.
  • Clear communicator and collaborative problem-solver.
