Job Summary
Responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery to ensure the smooth and safe completion of construction projects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment to perform tasks safely and according to project plans.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations.
- Operating company dump truck for hauling materials.
- Work closely with construction managers and supervisors, following blueprints and project specifications to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling and maneuvering of heavy equipment.
- Understands, communicates and enforces safety policies on the project at all times.
- Safely use tools, machinery and equipment.
- Is responsible for adhering to Derrick safety manual and OSHA standards.
- Assures that project is maintained in an orderly, clean, secure, and professional manner.
Skills and Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.Relevant licenses and safety certifications.Experience operating heavy machinery essential.CDL preferred or willing to obtain within 6-12 months.Knowledge of construction techniques and safety protocols.Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.Work Environment and Benefits
