HR Recruitment Specialist

New York Edge is the largest provider of after-school and summer camp programs in New York City public schools. Position Summary:

New York Edge is seeking a qualified and highly motivated HR Recruitment Specialist to support our organizational hiring needs. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet staffing demands across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now as an ATS and familiarity with Salesforce is strongly preferred.

Schedule:

Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting through candidate onboarding.
• Search resume databases and proactively source candidates through multiple recruitment channels.
• Communicate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies.
• Draft, proofread, and update job descriptions in collaboration with HR and program leadership.
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to manage requisitions, candidates, and offer letters.
• (Preferred) Support reporting and workflow integration using Salesforce.
• Review and evaluate applicants to ensure alignment with position requirements.
• Interview candidates while ensuring compliance with New York Edge policies and labor regulations.
• Adhere to all laws, rules, and personal data privacy regulations.
• Recommend new sources for both active and passive candidate recruiting.
• Provide weekly reports on recruitment activity, progress, and pipeline health.

Required Skills:

• Strong passion for HR and Talent Acquisition practices.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now ATS required.
• Familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
• Ability to effectively scan and assess large volumes of resumes.
• Understanding of recruitment marketing and candidate engagement strategies.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of recruitment or HR experience.
