Payroll Specialist

Location : Elizabethtown, Kentucky Pay Rate : $23 / hour Employment Type : Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing exceptional support to staff regarding payroll inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly / bi-weekly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
• Verify timecards, deductions, and adjustments before finalizing payroll.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
• Respond to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Assist with year-end processes, including W-2 preparation and tax filings.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve payroll processes.
