Metro Services is looking to hire local Forklift Operators for a company in Kokomo, IN. This is a temp / contract position. Apply Now!

Duties for this position include :

• Unloading, unpacking, and inspecting incoming shipments for damage or defects
• Verify the accuracy of the products against packing lists, purchase orders, or delivery notes
• Storing materials and restocking shelves
• Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area
• Processing and loading orders to complete shipments
• Maintaining related records and files as assigned
• Operating a variety of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and dollies
• Identify any irregularities that are not compliant with work instructions and control plans regarding the work environment, production process, raw materials, and the quality of semi-finished products
• Inspect the equipment according to the equipment features inspection guide
• Work in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout the organization
• Ensure strict compliance with quality and safety regulations and standards

Compensation (USD) :

$15.00 - $15.80 / hour

Schedule : 1st Shift

Monday - Friday

8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
