About The Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for a hospital-based locum tenens opportunity in Northern Colorado. This is a call-only position covering three hospitals, with no clinic responsibilities . Ideal for a physician who can commit to 15–20+ shifts per month and is comfortable with a fast-paced, multi-hospital environment.

Position Highlights :

Schedule : Hospital Call Only – No clinic or outreach

Shifts : Must be available for 15–20+ shifts / month

Call Requirements : 24-hour call coverage

Weekend Coverage : As needed

Compensation : $3,500 per 24-hour call shift

Facility Overview :

The primary site is a 193-bed regional medical center in Loveland, CO , specializing in heart and trauma care. The facility features :

Two intensive care units

Birthing center & special care nursery

Comprehensive surgical services including cardiothoracic, orthopedic trauma, and neuro trauma

Robotic-assisted surgery

Full-service radiology and lab

Onsite acute dialysis unit

Job Requirements

Facility & Practice Details :

Practice Type : Hospital-based only

Hospitals Covered : PVH

MCR

GH (Greeley Hospital)

Patient Load : 4–12 patients / day

Hospital-Based Surgeries : 3–6 / day across all 3 sites

Adults Only : 100% inpatient urology

Group Size : 10 Urologists, 5 Mid-levels (primarily outpatient OR support)

Support Staff : Minor rounding support in the AM at Greeley / MCR by APPs

Ancillary Services : Full lab & X-ray services

General Adult Urology

Advanced Endoscopic Techniques

Ureteroscopy

Preferred : Nephrectomy

Credentialing Requirements :

Board Certification in Urology – REQUIRED

Active CO Medical License or IMLC LOQ – REQUIRED

BLS & ACLS Certification – REQUIRED
