Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location : Vineland, New Jersey (08360) – South Jersey healthcare jobs Unit : Cardiac Stepdown Unit (PCU / Stepdown Nursing) Contract Length : 6 weeks Hours per Week : 36 Shift : Every other weekend and holiday required Floating : May float within specialty and to Elmer as needed Charting System : Cerner Scrub Color : Navy Hourly Pay Rate : $86.49 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,090 - $2,200 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Stepdown RN or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse Must have true Stepdown / PCU experience (Medical / Surgical Telemetry alone not accepted) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only) Willingness to float within specialty and to Elmer as needed Ability to complete all required orientation and training Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Stepdown Unit, including trach care, bariatrics, nocturnal vents, and stroke care Manage patient ratios of 1 : 5 in Stepdown / PCU; 1 : 6 if floated to acute care Care for patients with peritoneal dialysis, stroke, and post-surgical recovery needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes Float to other units within specialty and to Elmer as needed Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records Comply with all hospital policies, orientation, and ongoing training requirements Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse in Vineland, NJ, and make a meaningful impact in New Jersey nursing jobs!
