We’re representing a premier General Contractor in their search for a Lead Superintendent to oversee field operations on a landmark $200 million ground-up multifamily project in the Miami.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a construction professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of delivering large-scale multifamily projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provides strategic vision for project planning, coordination, sequencing, and site utilization.
  • Collaborates with the Project Executive to develop the overall construction plan.
  • Oversees and documents all daily job site activities, ensuring full compliance with Coastal and OSHA safety standards.
  • Directs field personnel in alignment with the project plan and Coastal’s supervisory principles.
  • Communicates daily updates on issues, events, performance, and progress to the Project Executive.
  • Escalates problems promptly to the Project Executive and Project Manager to support cost-effective solutions.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with clients and Coastal team members.

Project Start-Up & Turnover

  • Identifies pre-mobilization activities in coordination with the Project Executive and Project Manager.
  • Develops a start-up schedule, including priority purchasing requirements for a successful launch.
  • Builds high-performance teams through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Provides consistent feedback and completes timely performance appraisals for team members.

    • Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance

  • Strengthens relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Ensures strict adherence to ethics and compliance standards across all operations.
  • Promotes and supports Coastal’s technology systems and strategic initiatives.
  • Defines clear objectives and goals for each assigned team member.

    • Field Oversight & Communication

  • Conducts inspections of construction activities and supervises area supervisors.
  • Coordinates with Coastal’s Project Management Team, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain schedule alignment.
  • Represents Coastal in interactions with owners, architects, consultants, government authorities, vendors, and subcontractors.

    • Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily or large-scale commercial construction.
  • Proven success managing ground-up projects valued over $75M+, ideally in urban environments.
  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing, logistics, and field operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
