ICU RN Job Details – Kingwood, TX Location : Kingwood, Texas 77339 (Houston metro area) Unit : CV Neuro ICU, South Tower, 5th Floor Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse – ICU Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : Night shift, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Patient Ratio : 1 : 2 Scrub Color : Royal Blue Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Critical Care training and clinical skills Proficiency in pressor medication management, arterial line management, and critical drip management Experience with circulatory support devices (preferred) Familiarity with Meditech EMR (preferred) Strong adaptability and teamwork skills ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 22-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Monitor and manage advanced ICU equipment : CRRT, ventilators, MTP, Hemospheres, arterial lines, Impella, IABP, CABG, EVD, and TTM Administer and titrate critical drips and pressor medications Assist with and perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, central venous catheter (CVC) and arterial line insertion Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes Float to ICC, TCU, and other ICU units as needed Adhere to hospital policies, attendance, and scheduling commitments Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team in Kingwood, Texas, and take the next step in your ICU nursing career!
