Job description

Position Title : Journeyman Plumber - Commercial & Industrial

Location : Jenks, OK 74037

Clearance Requirements : None

Position Status : Contract-to-Hire (Onsite, 1st Shift)

Pay Rate : Competitive and based on experience

Position Description :

Seneca Resources is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our client's team in Jenks, OK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial plumbing systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance of piping, fixtures, and equipment. This is a great opportunity for a skilled trades professional who values craftsmanship, safety, and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, water lines, drain lines, compressed air lines, and process piping.

Troubleshoot and service plumbing fixtures such as sinks, faucets, toilets, urinals, water heaters, and softeners.

Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on plumbing and piping systems.

Inspect, diagnose, and repair leaks, backflows, hot water systems, boilers, and filters.

Conduct site surveys to evaluate installation and repair needs, supporting project estimates for labor and materials.

Maintain accurate documentation, including service reports, timesheets, and expense logs.

Follow all company and OSHA safety standards and participate in ongoing training and on-call rotations.

Required Skills / Education :

Education : High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Plumbing Apprenticeship Program.

Experience : Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial or industrial plumbing service and remodel work.

Licenses / Certifications : Valid Journeyman Plumber License (state or jurisdiction) and valid driver's license.

Technical Skills :

Strong understanding of plumbing codes, blueprints, and piping schematics.

Proficiency with basic math and measurement for installations and repairs.

Soft Skills : Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently.
