About the Position :

Our client, an established Chicago law firm with a truly high-end and sophisticated practice, has an active need for a real estate lawyer (12+ yrs of experience) to join the firm as a Partner. This firm is well-known for its collaborative work environment and has a diverse middle-market client base, with deep experience representing developers, investors, landlords, REITS, and syndicators in a wide range of real estate matters.

Responsibilities :

Represent clients in a variety of real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and finance matters

Work with a range of real estate clients, including developers, investors, lenders, REITs, syndicators, landlords and tenants, and brokers

Assist with mentoring junior partners and associates and help manage real estate practice

Required Qualifications :

12+ years of broad real estate experience from a mid-size or large law firm, or real estate boutique

Borrower-side finance experience is a plus

Desire for a client-facing and dynamic middle-market practice

Location : Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation :

The anticipated base compensation for this position is $275,000 - $325,000.
