The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you'll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students' learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

Provide online 1-on-1 tutoring to individual students.
Accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever you're available.
Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required.
Be matched with students whose needs align with your teaching style and expertise.

Compensation and Schedule

Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and increase for specialized subjects; rates can reach up to $40 / hour with the same student.

Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice.

Set your own hours and tutor as much as you'd like.

AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time support to enhance sessions and save prep time.

What We Look For In a Tutor

Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.

Expertise in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
