- Must be physically able to walk multiple buildings, floors, and grounds.
- Communicate visually or verbally.

- Drive an automobile, van, or light truck.

- Use conflict resolution techniques.
- Use oral or written communication techniques.
- Use a two-way radio or mobile phone.
- Work as a team member.
- Conduct field research or investigative studies.
- Conduct surveillance to obtain information for law enforcement.
- Use surveillance techniques.
- Direct human or vehicle traffic.
- Distribute traffic control or caution signs or markers.
- Follow law enforcement methods or procedures.
- Issue citations or warnings for violation of laws.
- Observe vehicular or pedestrian traffic.
- Explain government rules or policies.
- Follow confidentiality procedures.
- Follow professional ethics principles in law practice.
- Determine negligence or violation of laws or regulations.
- Enforce laws, ordinances, or regulations.
- Investigate complaints, disturbances, or violations.
- Operate vehicles in law enforcement or security settings.
- Authorize entry or exit of individuals.
- Determine the response needed to dispatch to an emergency.
